Mortgage rates are little changed from last week’s upward push. Jobless claims fell further than expected this week, giving continued support to last week’s fall in unemployment and labor market improvements. Economists are enthusiastic about the continued positive numbers, with the most negative opinion being only that the economy is still in a very slow recovery. But most will agree that the housing market has turned the corner and barring any unforeseen circumstances should continue to improve. Ted Gosnell, First Home Mortgage
