Apparently, a number of buyers braved the winter chills in January and February to buy homes based on the March sales figures. Both Franklin and Washington county saw big increases in the number of homes that sold. The only downside of the number appears to be the number of pending sales which is off by about 8 percent over last year in Franklin County and 11.5% in Washington county.
