The July housing news continued to show positive signs in Franklin county with another increase of 6% in total dollar volume over the same period last year. While the total number of home sales was flat versus last year, the average price and median price of homes sold in the month were both up. Days on the market was also down over 4% over the previous year and stood at 95 days. For buyers, the lack of inventory continued to be an issue with active listings off 10% from last year.
