Here’s the Franklin county market statistics* for December along with a look back at 2015. 2015 offered a mix of information for future home sellers and buyers While total revenue grew by nearly 11%, and total sales grew by a whopping 13%, we saw a slip in the average price of a detached home that sold, down 2.31% to $169,152. Another item of interest were the number of “cash” deals for the year. They made up 25% of all sales in the county. The start of 2016 has seen a very active market thanks to decent weather and continued low interest rates. The number of pending sales in December grew, indicating a healthy number of closings that will be happening soon.
