October Market Report for Franklin County

October market stats for the area showed a soften in the housing recovery with total values down over the previous month and same month last year.  However, the days on market was down considerably over the previous month and same time last year.  Prices were fairly stable.  There were 904 active listings in October 2013 vs. 833 the same time last year for an 8.5% increase in the number of homes on the market.  Meanwhile pending sales, an indicator of future home sales, was down 13.89% versus October 2012.
